Maths Homework
The Year 1 children will have weekly maths homework to complete from an arithmetic workbook. This homework will be given out on Thursdays and needs to be returned to school by the following Tuesday at the latest. Our expectation is that all children will complete this regular weekly homework and your support with this is much appreciated. Remember that your child can use any equipment to help with counting or drawings to support their calculations.
Numbots
The Year 1 children can access Numbots to support the foundations for their maths learning. They will each be given login details (username and password) for Numbots, which will be glued into the front of their reading records. There are games for the children to play little and often to help improve your child's recall and understanding of number bonds, and addition and subtraction facts.
There is a letter and guide of how to use Numbots attached below.
Telling the Time
Year 1 children have been given some Telling the Time homework activities. This is for the children to complete and hand in by the end of the Autumn Term. This will help the children practise and use time on a daily basis and use it in their everyday life.
Find below websites to practise Telling the Time.
