For literacy this week I would like you all to:
- read the story 'Jack and the Beanstalk' again and complete the story by writing your own sentences about what happens in the story next to each of the pictures. Remember capital letters, finger spaces, full stops and neat cursive handwriting.
- listen to the story on Purple Mash that I have read, 'Supertato Carnival Catastro-pea' using the Purple Mash link.
- write a recount of a celebration you have had while being at home, such as a birthday, afternoon tea. If you haven't had a celebration, write about a celebration you would like to have after lock down. Think about the things you did and had at your celebration, bunting, balloons, cake, games, what you wore etc. Think about and write down how you would feel if there was no colour around. Use some adjectives in your writing, remember capital letters, finger spaces, full stops and neat cursive handwriting.
You can share your work with me by asking your parents to email it to me (just take a photograph of your hand written work and ask your parents to email the images to me), or by uploading your work to Purple Mash and saving it in your 'my work' folder.
